Arima Onsen is known for one of Japan’s three historic hot springs.
Historically, hostesses for onsen guests at Arima were called “Yuna.” Currently, “Yuna” continue to provide hospitality in Arima as “Geisha” and there is a Geisha Café, where we will enjoy a geisha performance while having Japanese tea and a traditional dessert. For this special itinerary, we have reserved the geisha’s performance time at the Geisha Café, allowing our guests to converse and dance with the geisha-an experience not ordinarily offered by the café.
ARIMA ONSEN (90 min.)
Arima is famous for two types of hot springs: “Gold” (kinnoyu), which is brownish and rich in iron and minerals, and “Silver” (ginnoyu), which is clear and contains radium and carbonate.
At this facility you will experience the mixture of “Gold” and “Silver” spring water, as well as the stone sauna. Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a famous samurai in the 16th century, was said to love this hot spring.

Meeting Point
Upon exiting the Kobe Airport Arrivals Gates, you will find yourself in a corridor. Please continue straight, passing the restrooms and the escalator on your right, until you reach the Departure/Arrival Lobby. Proceed to the Information Counter, where our attendant will be waiting for you with a sign that reads ‘Yui Prima Olivia’.
