Announcement of the start of operation of the new dedicated train “YUI PRIMA OLIVIA” to brighten up Seto Inland Sea travel

Starting in April 2024, a new YUI PRIMA vehicle, the “YUI PRIMA OLIVIA,” will begin operation.

This will be a special vehicle for touring the Seto Inland Sea Seto Inland Sea to people both from within Japan and overseas.
The Seto Inland Sea region stretches 450km from east to west and comprises over 700 islands.
The beauty of its scenery has led to it being described as an island of many islands, and it is home to world heritage sites such as Himeji Castle and Itsukushima Shrine.
Combined with an abundance of seafood and agricultural products and a warm, low-rainfall climate, the area is dotted with many attractive tourist attractions.
The newly launched Seto Inland Sea sightseeing tour connects these routes, allowing you to travel around the Seto Inland Sea region in a leisurely and comfortable manner!

The vehicle design was handled by industrial designer Eiji Mitooka, who also worked on the “YUI PRIMA”.
We hope you will support “YUI PRIMA OLIVIA,” who will be joining Mayui this spring.

Prior to the launch of “YUI PRIMA OLIVIA”, tickets for the tour will now be on sale.
