The bus departs Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, and enters the Shimanami Kaido from Imabari City. On the first island, Oshima, you can experience cruising around Noshima, the home base of Noshima Murakami, once known as “Japan’s greatest pirate,” as you wade through the tides of up to 10 knots (18 km/h). You’ll get a close-up look at the power of nature as you experience the Noshima Navy’s tides, splashing water as they sail through the currents that resemble waterfalls in the ocean.

The bus then travels via Hakatajima Island to Munekata Port on Omishima Island. From here, you board a small ferry for a 23-minute ride that offers views of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. After that, you drive from Okamura Island across seven bridges to Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The view of the Seto Islands from the car window is a beautiful sight that is yet to be discovered in Japan. Then, YUI PRIMA OLIVIA arrives at Miyajimaguchi, the gateway to Miyajima, the western end of the Seto Inland Sea tour. Enjoy the World Heritage Site of Miyajima in your own style.
