Departing from Kurashiki, we transfer to a ferry at Takamatsu Port and head to Megijima, a small island in the Seto Inland Sea Seto Inland Sea Sea. This island, which is also one of the venues for the Setouchi Triennale, is also known as Onigashima, the island where the legend of Momotaro remains.
Having lunch at a cafe run by a famous female hostess on Megijima and listening to her witty stories, or strolling around the island, will give you a glimpse into everyday island life that you can’t see at regular tourist spots.
Returning to Takamatsu Port, YUI PRIMA OLIVIA will stop at Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture, where you can relax and refresh in the hot springs of Dogo Onsen, one of the three oldest springs in Japan.
In the “Ozashiki Experience” where you can spend an extraordinary time, you can enjoy the gorgeous hospitality of a geisha along with the food. From April to June, we are offering a plan that includes a zashiki experience on limited dates and times as special days, so please take a look at that too.

Enjoy homemade Japanese cuisine on Megijima, also known as Orge Island, where lunch will be prepared for you by a hospitable elderly couple who run a charming vintage cafe.
Megijima, located a 20-minute boat ride from Takamatsu, is affectionately known as “Onigashima” (Ogre Island).
This island is the setting for the legendary Momotaro tale and its oddly shaped rocks and rugged coastline fascinate visitors.

The island is famous not only for its folklore creatures, but also for the friendliness of its local people, who protect this natural paradise and welcome the tourists, bringing vitality to the area.
You will be greeted by ogres in the island’s caves. The caves on Onigashima, famous as part of the Momotaro legend, are a must-visit spot.

Suggestions for what to do after drop-off
Continue your journey with YUI PRIMA OLIVIA
1.Get off at Dogo and spend the night at a hot spring inn. The next day, depart Dogo on YUI PRIMA OLIVIA and set off on a live route that takes you to the inland sea .
2.Get off at Matsuyama and spend one night there. Enjoy the Japanese atmosphere, seafood and local sake.
The next day, continue the journey by boarding YUI PRIMA OLIVIA from Matsuyama again on a live route that takes you to the inland sea .
(*It takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Dogo to Matsuyama. You can board YUI PRIMA OLIVIA departing from Matsuyama the next day.)
Enjoy other travels/ Return home
1.Get off at Dogo and enjoy a trip to hot springs in Setouchi while visiting shrines and temples. Then, fly back home.
2.After getting off at Matsuyama, proceed to Matsuyama Airport, where you will board a plane and travel to Tokyo.
